Owen's Musings

I have to mention what Owen said today. He was eating a popsicle and said without prompting and totally verbatim: "This popsicle is from the Arctic. It's very cold and its at the top of the world."

He is also very into the lifecycle of the butterfly. I can't blame him...it is a miraculous transformation. "The egg is wround and hatches out a caterpillar. It eats and eats, then hangs upside down on a bwanch and turns into a chrysalis. It gwows wings and then the butterfly comes out"

This evening, he mentioned (in no particular context) that the bats at the zoo were now probably flying around because it was nighttime. "They sleep during the day" Duh, mom.

I was also tickled today, he really wanted to take pictures of the animals. When he missed the crocs, he insisted going back to snap a pic. It was very cute.

Mimi Murray couldn't be happier that Owen and Wes's Mommy started this blog. It makes me smile and feel warm and fuzzy whenever I see a new entry about my darlin' grandsons! Hi Wes, Hi O!!
