Easter morning at our house.....both kids had bad allergy eyes and Owen's lips were blue from eating a blue Ring Pop (yes, before breakfast!) 
Easter Brunch at Mimi and Papa Spomer's. Grandma did a cute egg hunt this year. Each egg was filled with slips of paper that the kids could redeem for a puzzle piece. 
After they collected all the pieces, it was time to put the puzzle together....

Here they are wearing their new hats that Gigi McMahon made for them. Last time we saw gigi, she asked the boys their favorite colors. Wes said green and Owen said "light blue." They actually have been wearing them around the house this week...its pretty cute. 
Saturday was Owen's first day of soccer. Dad and Owen had some special time picking out new shin guards and soccer socks for the occasion. There was some resistence to going, but I was proud he went out on the field and gave it a try....a couple other kids clung to their parents on the sidelines. He enjoyed himself, but seemed to be in his own little world, not really paying attention to what the coaches were saying, just wanting to put the ball in the net. Drills? We don't need no stinkin' drills.
